High-Performance Phase-Change & Evaporative Cooling

Enhanced Internal Grooving: Our shell and tube evaporators are engineered with high-performance copper tubes featuring helical inner-grooving. This specialized profile significantly increases internal heat transfer surface area and breaks fluid boundary layers, maximizing refrigerant phase-change efficiency during continuous run-times.

Multi-Circuit Flexibility: Sized specifically to match your compressor load curves, we offer single, dual, or multi-circuit configurations. This allows independent compressor loops, ensuring highly efficient part-load operations and providing essential system redundancy to protect against unexpected utility shutdowns.

Leak-Proof Mechanical Expansion: Managing pressurized refrigerants and cold process water demands absolute structural integrity. Every tube joint is expanded into the tubesheet with precise torque-control and hydraulically tested to guarantee leak-free operation over thousands of high-vibration thermal cycles.

ENGINEERING FEATURES

Calculated and Fabricated for Demanding Thermal Loops

Every evaporator is modeled with specific thermodynamic profiles. Below are the key engineering specifications built into our Shell & Tube designs:

Inner-Finned Tubes

Helically grooved inner copper profiles increase fluid turbulence, boosting evaporation rates significantly.

Oil-Return Design

Engineered with precise interior channels to facilitate seamless oil return, preventing compressor oil-logging.

Certified Sealing

Units undergo hydrostatic pressure testing at 1.5 times design pressures and helium leak tests to guarantee maximum safety.
